Why train your teams in AI in Belgium

The economy of Brussels and Wallonia includes a large share of SMEs, professional firms (lawyers, accountants, fiduciaries), administrations, public bodies and non-profits. For these organisations, generative AI is not a technology project: it is an everyday working tool for drafting, summarising, preparing meetings, answering a client or citizen and structuring a file. It still has to be used with method.

AI2 courses start from each job’s real tasks and never use real data: exercises use fictitious documents, and every programme covers approved tools, data to exclude and how to verify answers. Several programmes were designed from French examples (public sector, legal professions): cases are adapted to your Belgian context during scoping.

AI2 has no office in Belgium: our only campus is in Paris and sessions are delivered online, in the same time zone, or at your premises for in-company training (travel costs extra). Courses are delivered in French; for training in English, contact us. They cover the use of AI tools and do not constitute legal advice under Belgian law.

Format: online or on site, in-company or open session

The training comes to your teams, wherever they are in Belgium: in a virtual classroom, or on site at your premises.

Live online with a trainer : a virtual classroom run in real time, with individual and group exercises and questions throughout. Your staff join from their office or from home, with no travel.
In-company or open session : in-company, your team is trained on its own (up to 10 participants per group, 8 in the Executive range), with cases built on your documents made fictitious; in an open session, you enrol one or more employees in a scheduled session.
On site at your premises : for in-company training, the trainer comes to you: same programme and price grid, travel costs itemised in the quotation. AI2 has a single campus, in Paris.
Language : training is delivered in French. Training in English: contact us.
Fictitious data only : no real client, patient or employee data is entered into the tools during sessions.
Dates : confirmed after the qualification call and signed training agreement, usually within 3 to 6 weeks for in-company sessions, once the trainer is confirmed.

AI Act and AI literacy

Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act requires providers and deployers of AI systems to take measures to ensure, to their best extent, a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff. The regulation sets no specific training duration or format: each organisation defines measures proportionate to its use of AI and should be able to document them. Job-specific training with a certificate of completion is one possible measure.

How does AI training work for a company in Belgium?+

Yes, for in-company training: the trainer runs the session at your premises, with the same programme and price grid; travel costs are itemised in the quotation. AI2 has no office in Belgium: our only campus is in Paris. The date is set once the trainer is confirmed.

How can a company in Belgium fund AI training?+

Does the AI Act require Belgian companies to train their staff?+

As Belgium is an EU member state, Article 4 of the EU AI Act has applied since 2 February 2025 to providers and deployers of AI systems: they must take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff. The regulation does not prescribe a specific format; documented job-specific training is one possible measure.
