Why train your teams in AI in French-speaking Switzerland

French-speaking Switzerland brings together very different sectors that share one need: producing, analysing and checking large amounts of written information to a high standard. Private banking and wealth management in Geneva and Lausanne, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, watchmaking and microtechnology in the Jura Arc, international organisations and NGOs in Geneva: in each of these settings, generative AI is changing how a report, file or memo is prepared.

These organisations place great importance on confidentiality. AI2 courses never use real data: exercises use fictitious documents, and every programme covers approved tools, information to exclude and how to verify answers before sharing them. The industrial programmes apply to process engineering, quality and maintenance teams, including in watchmaking; there is no watchmaking-specific programme, and examples are adapted during scoping.

AI2 has no office in Switzerland: our only campus is in Paris and sessions are delivered online, in the same time zone, or at your premises for in-company training (travel costs extra). The courses cover the use of AI tools; they do not constitute legal or regulatory advice under Swiss law, including on data protection.

Format: online or on site, in-company or open session

The training comes to your teams, wherever they are in Switzerland: in a virtual classroom, or on site at your premises.

Live online with a trainer : a virtual classroom run in real time, with individual and group exercises and questions throughout. Your staff join from their office or from home, with no travel.
In-company or open session : in-company, your team is trained on its own (up to 10 participants per group, 8 in the Executive range), with cases built on your documents made fictitious; in an open session, you enrol one or more employees in a scheduled session.
On site at your premises : for in-company training, the trainer comes to you: same programme and price grid, travel costs itemised in the quotation. AI2 has a single campus, in Paris.
Language : training is delivered in French. Training in English: contact us.
Fictitious data only : no real client, patient or employee data is entered into the tools during sessions.
Dates : confirmed after the qualification call and signed training agreement, usually within 3 to 6 weeks for in-company sessions, once the trainer is confirmed.

AI Act and AI literacy

Switzerland is not part of the European Union, but the EU Artificial Intelligence Act can apply to a company established outside the EU, in particular when it places an AI system on the EU market or when the output of an AI system is used in the Union. For organisations within its scope, Article 4, applicable since 2 February 2025, requires a sufficient level of AI literacy among staff. Whether it applies to your situation should be assessed case by case with your legal adviser.

How can a company in Switzerland fund AI training?+

Does the EU AI Act concern a Swiss company?+

Switzerland is not an EU member, but the EU AI Act can concern a Swiss company that places an AI system on the EU market or whose AI system output is used in the Union. In that case, Article 4 (staff AI literacy, applicable since 2 February 2025) is relevant. To be assessed with your legal adviser.
